The Ecuadorian Pacific coast is a combination of virgin beaches, big modern cities, picturesque fishing villages, and protected forests. It welcomes all kinds of tourists with the most diverse interests.

If you are an avid nature lover come find the tallest mangroves in the world or the biggest marine bird refuge of the country. Catch a sight of the hunchback whales that come all the way from the Antarctic waters to mate between June and October every year.

For those who prefer a more cultural experience, visit the museums where the remains of some of the oldest pre-Columbian civilizations in Latin America are kept, taste the delicious traditional dishes and experience the nightlife of some of the hottest spots in the region.

Cruise along the "Ruta del Sol" (Route of the Sun) where you can find archaeological sites, fishing ports, an eco-city, tropical dry forests, lush landscapes, and the home of the Panama Hat. Discover the hospitality of the Ecuadorian people and relax on the sand, enjoying the sun and the wonderful view, or surf the waves of some of the most popular places in which you can practice this sport.
